We have sourced this fantastic properly wild Venison from two estate local to us in Northern Ireland. The deer roam freely within the estates and live outside all year round. Venison, once the meat of kings, is gaining in popularity in leaps and bounds in today's health conscious age. As it is grass fed, the meat is low in cholesterol and is the perfect addition to a well-balanced diet. Hung on our premises for a minimum of 2 weeks, the meat is unbelievably tender. Venison meat is extremely lean and succulent and because there is little or no fat it benefits from marinating for at least 24 hours to bring out the best flavour.
