The trimmed eye of the fore rib, suitable for grilling, barbecuing or frying.
These steaks are cut from beef rib-eye which has not been aged and the steaks are quick frozen immediately after they are cut by the butcher in order to minimise the development of histamine. They are packed and frozen within 3 days of slaughter and each steak is packed individually. They are suitable if you are following a low histamine diet.
These steaks should be stored frozen, and cooked within 12 hours of thawing.

Special Boxes for Frozen Orders
For courier shipping of frozen food we offer a subsidised extra insulating polystyrene box, lined with wool and filled with special ice packs for frozen food which will keep meat frozen for 48 hours.
