Specially for couples and small families, these free range white turkeys, reared on the shores of Strangford Lough in County Down, are the centrepiece of a delicious free range Christmas lunch. These are a special breed of white turkey that finishes at only 9-10lb weight, which makes it an ideal free range substitute if you usually buy a turkey crown. Started in July, grazed on grass throughout the summer and finished on wheat grown on the farm, these turkeys are premium quality. They are dry plucked to maintain the quality of the meat and skin, and hung for 10 days to produce a delicious deep flavour.
All turkeys are oven ready, with their giblets removed but included in a separate sealed bag.
