A bit about us

We've been producing free range pigs at Pheasants' Hill Farm since 1997. Farming started as a hobby; we began with one Tamworth pig. The hobby became a business in 1998 in response to requests from local people who saw the pigs in the fields and wanted to buy free range pork. In 1999 we added free range chickens, turkeys and geese for Christmas.

In 2003 we added our own butchery and started to produce our dry cured bacon from Pheasants' Hill Tamworth and Gloustershire Old Spots pork. Since that time the business has grown to the year round production of free range pork, bacon, hams, smoked hams, lamb and eggs, free range chickens and wild venison in season.

In 2007 Pheasants' Hill went mobile. We've travelled the length and breadth of the country in our van selling our delicious free range rare breed meats and hopefully converting people to their superior taste and quality! Look out for Pheasants’ Hill Farm Kitchen at a show near you.
